Happy New Year
There is a Irish proverb (and some say curse), “May you live in interesting times”.
Though we did not achieve all of our goals in 2007, we have been a very positive influence in the lives of many - and many of you have been a very positive influence in our lives.
Anytime you can inspire another human being to expand their awareness and take steps in the direction of a brighter future, that is a good day. Anytime you recover from any trauma or disaster, be it financial, emotional, physical or spiritual, you provide hope for others and help make it a good year.
We know many that have had just such a year!
With tough conditions all round, all of us have been tested in our own ways during this past year together. We know that many of you are waiting for a better investment climate, lower interest rates, cheaper properties, some have become frustrated and others are just as excited as the day you first got into this business.
When we think back over the last year, we recall how gloomy we were about the state of the world - the growing damage to the planet, the litany of foreclosures, the seemingly insurmountable barriers to profit and that looming economic crisis…
The contrast with this year-end is strikingly vivid - because we found a mission to grab with all our energy, tenacity and conviction. One that brings real hope of massive and meaningful change for our buyers, sellers and investor clients. One that engages all that we have to give, all that we ever imagined and learnt, and much more that we never considered possible.
Thanks for being a part of our friends, partners, clients, buyers, sellers and investors. Thanks for using your energy, tenacity, and conviction to help us create solutions for each other to our mutual benefit. Thanks for helping us solve so many challenges.
With your help, let’s make 2008 GREAT! Let’s beat the economic downturn, let’s make money in a down market, let’s help each other get up and encourage each other to keep going. Let’s help each other to keep winning more often than we lose.
Let’s create results this year that will surpass all our expectations. Let us create the interesting times together and make 2008 the most prosperous, humanly satisfying and spiritually uplifting year of all!
